Sigma Sigma Sigma Foundation has awarded nearly $3,000,000 in grants to help children!

Since 1954, play therapy has been the philanthropic outreach of Sigma Sigma Sigma. The Foundation focuses on helping seriously ill children.

In the early 1950s, Tri Sigma was the first to fund a new, cutting-edge treatment called play therapy, which helps children understand and cope with their illnesses and the treatment they must undertake. The Sigma Sigma Sigma Foundation is committed to investing in life-enhancing children's therapy programs, called play therapy/child life/recreational therapy, depending on the health center.

Local Grant Program: Every year the Foundation awards local grants to programs nominated by alumnae and collegiate chapters. Grants range from $100 to $2,500.

National Grant Program: The Foundation also funds major national fellowships at the Children's Medical Center in Dallas, TX and North Carolina Children's Hospital at University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill - important training centers where young therapists can learn and grow in the field.

The Foundation awards funds for children's therapy programs through its Robbie Page Memorial Fund.
